Bean flour Biscuits

Now here’s the recipe to prepare handmade bean biscuits. These biscuits do not have ingredients that produce cholesterol, nor simple sweeteners such as sugar (Table 1). The recipe includes whole-wheat, oatmeal and bean flour. The indicated proportions serve for the preparation of 26 biscuits of 0.353 oz. each. It also includes stevia powder as a natural sweetener to substitute for the use of sugar. This product has an average life of 60 days.
First, weigh all the ingredients (Table 1), blend the oatmeal flakes until you obtain a soft flour. Combine the bean flour, the whole-wheat flour, the oatmeal flour and the baking powder. Cut the nuts into small pieces. In a bowl, melt the butter in a boiling water bath and add salt. In another bowl, put the water and the vanilla essence and add the stevia, stir until it is perfectly dissolved. Combine all the ingredients until you obtain a homogenous mixture. Let this dough chill in the refrigerator for one hour. Immediately after, put the dough on a tray and cut it with the aid of biscuit moulds. Then put the biscuits in a previously margarine greased stainless steel tray and cook at 356oF during 40 minutes. After cooking, let the biscuits cool (Illustration 5) at room temperature, keeping them from sources of contamination. Pack them in cellophane bags previously labeled with the manufacturer’s data, and production and expiration dates.
